UPLAND YARN CELEBRATION -
In the April 23rd edition of the Knitter's Review, Clara Parkes reviewed our softly spun Upland Wool & Alpaca Yarn, calling it "quietly perfect". Her praise honors the hard work that goes into raising the sheep to produce this lovely yarn. Receive a 5% discount when purchasing 10 or more HAND DYED skeins of Upland Wool & Alpaca.
Wool Alpaca Twist on Sale -
Celebrate the classic beauty of this creamy white blend of natural fibers - wool from our own flock and alpaca from a neighboring farm. Buy 3 skeins, get one free while supplies last.
New Spindles!
We've added two lines to our spindle inventory. Greensleeve Spindles are handcrafted in fine woods and come in a range of styles to suit your spinning tastes. Kundert spindles feature fine wood inlay motifs and are perfect for both beginners and serious spindlers who will appreciate their beauty, balance and long spin. The inventory is going too quickly for me to post the spindles on the website. Please email me to check inventory.
My book is here!
I now have copies of my book available - Teach Yourself Visually Hand-Dyeing. If you have every wanted to try your hand at dyeing your own yarn or spinning fiber, this is the perfect guide for getting started. Email me for a personalized signed copy.
Spring & Summer events:
The Massachusetts Sheep & Wool festival is my last spring show but you can visit me and my yarn at any one of my upcoming trunk show appearances listed on the events page. Or sign up for one of my spinning or dyeing classes at Webs (www.yarn.com).
After a harsh winter and a cool spring, the flock is enjoying our lush, verdant pastures. As always, you can follow events at the farm by visiting my blog, Sheep Gal.
Happy Spring!
